Amanda's Bridal Session at Naylor
DATE: 4/14/2009 2:14:00 PM
Now that the Wedding is over I can finally show a few of Amanda's Bridal Portrait photos. She was absolutely radiant for her "dress rehearsal" and as a dancer, her posing flowed naturally. Mom's eyes teared up as she watched her beautiful daughter move gracefully in her gorgeous wedding gown. As a photographer, I couldn't have found an easier, more graceful model. This session was photographed in January of 2009 but since future "hubby" couldn't see them until after the wedding date, April 4, here they are now

Rene & Ken

St. David's Episcopal Church
Rene and Ken were referred to me by the Doubletree Hotel in Roswell. Initially they planned a smaller, more intimate wedding, but after realizing all the family and friends who wanted to share in this moment in their lives, the event grew.
Being very involved with their church, we decided on that spot for their engagement session. Many of the images were taken in the Memorial Garden which was designed by a close friend and seemed appropriate for the occasion.
Ken and Rene were very relaxed in front of the camera and really had a fun time. They were playful, joyful, and very easy to work with. I realized after working with them for just a few moments, how easy it is going to be to photograph them on their wedding day in April of 2009. Of course, more images to follow after that great day!

Erin & Sean, November 22,
DATE: 12/16/2008 5:01:00 PM
Erin & Sean were referred to me by Wedding Wire and I knew when we met that this would be a fun wedding. The colors for the wedding were black and pink and the bridesmaids looked great in their strapless gowns. Erin was absolutely stunning in her beaded gown and chapel length veil and tiara. Her mom and dad were truly taken aback when they saw her stepping out of the elevator at the Doubletree Hotel in Roswell. Knowing their expressions, you can only imagine the look on Sean's face when he saw her coming up the aisle. The ceremony was performed by the father of Erin's good friend, Lauren. The service was very personal and emotional for all who attended. Both Sean and Erin's moms lit candles in remembrance of those who could not be in attendance.

When the ceremony ended and all the photos were taken it was time to celebrate! Erin, Sean and all their guests danced the night away after a lovely dinner and drinks. The cake was very pretty with all the pink touches that coordinated with the linens and chair covers. I know Erin and Sean will remember their wedding day forever and I was happy to be a part of it!

Ivy & Kris, October 26, 2008
DATE: 10/27/2008 4:48:00 PM

I met Ivy and Kris at Waller Park in Roswell for their engagement session. Their wedding is in May of 2009 with the reception being held at Villa Christina. Ivy and Kris are so fun and natural together. The posing was so minimal because they react so lovingly to each other. We spent about an hour and walked the area for the little spots that make an image so special. I really enjoyed getting to know them as a couple and seeing them in nature where they could really be themselves. Kris and Ivy demonstrated their playful side as they kissed, held hands, gave each other those adoring looks and finally Ivy just jumped on Kris' back for a ride in the woods. I can' t wait until their wedding in May. They are going to be such an amazing looking couple and so much fun to photograph!

Van Duynhoven-Smith Wedding

Bona Allen Mansion, Buford, GA
The Marriage of Stephanie Van Duynhoven and Brian Smith

What a gorgeous day and even more gorgeous Bride! Stephanie and Brian were wed on the front lawn of Bona Allen Mansion in Buford, GA. Stephanie's dad and flower girl escorted her to the front gate by horse drawn carriage. Brian's best friend was their pastor. The bridesmaid were attired in black and several photos were taken at the request of Stephanie with parasols spinning. The elegant event had such an attention to detail...from the matching parasols to the engraved martini glasses.

The couple danced the night away under the starry skies and candlelight frosted evening. When they finally departed at about midnight, they were sent off with sparklers as they whisked down the stairs to their awaiting limo.

The next morning was going to be an early one as the jetted off to Hawaii for their honeymoon.

What a pleasure it was to create memorable images they will treasure forever!

Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Smith!
