Newborn Photo Session With Baby JP

June 12, 2011

The Love Story of Jessie and Jerry...well, that's how this all started anyway. Jessie and Jerry were married in 2008 and I was so happy to have been their wedding photographer. They had a lovely mass at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek and a beautiful reception in Alpharetta. It was a Clemson celebration so it was no surprise that Jerry and Jessie arrived with little JP in Clemson orange...and Grandma Jewell came along to watch as we photographed him for the very first time in a studio.

Over the past few months I have made a few of the handmade crocheted baby props and I was so excited to use them and see how they worked out. I hope you like them as much as I do! I have more in the studio as well, some for girls and some for tiny babies.

As you can see, JP was a pretty sleepy little guy for his session. That's what makes some of these adorable poses possible, plus a nice warm, cozy studio.

If you or anyone you know are in need of newborn baby photos, please contact me for pricing and availability...and bring those special little things that are unique to your little family like the Clemson touches Jerry and Jessie brought.

We LOVE comments!

Waiting for Baby Elijah

May 22, 2011
Moments in Time Photography Studio
Autrey Mill Nature Preserve

When I put out a call for a maternity model family a month ago, my friend Olga called me and told me about her friends Lauren and Eric. When they walked in the door, I knew they were perfect. Not only was Lauren glowing and healthy and almost full term, but Lauren, Eric and Ericson were absolutely sweet and ready to try just about anything for a fun photo.

Before we got started we talked a little bit about what they were hoping for in their photos, wardrobe and how much time they wanted to spend documenting this important milestone in their lives. Then it was off to Autrey Mill Nature Preserve. I love shooting at Autrey Mill because there are so many different little spots to shoot and if Ericson got tired of watching all the photos being taken and being in many of them, there are some cool things for him to check out around the area. We were all excited to get started and here are some of the best shots we got there.

After about an hour and a half of outdoor photos, we headed back to the studio for some indoor shots and air conditioning. Once Eric got out the glitter we knew it was about time to end for the day!

Now that all the blue glitter is cleaned up I can just sit back and wait for the session with baby Elijah!

Need maternity or newborn photos??? Give me a call!
