Crystyle and Mark Wed at Primrose Cottage!

Primrose Cottage, Roswell GA
Mark and Crystyle came to me several months ago to talk about their wedding plans and we just hit it off right away. Sometimes you just get that feeling that it's meant to be and that's how it was for me. They were fun, relaxed, and the wedding was going to be intimate with close family and friends totaling about 75-100 guests. To make it even more special, Crystyle's daughters were going to be junior bridesmaids. They even came with for the meeting which was a treat.
Crystyle and Mark wanted photos that would capture the essence of the day, fun, creative and relaxed just like the whole evening was planned to be. Just my kind of wedding!
After working with their planner at Primrose Cottage, Mark and Crystyle decided to have the formal photographs done before the ceremony to allow more time to celebrate with family and friends at the reception.
We started photographing at about 5:30pm in the bride's suite. Crystyle wore a custom headpiece with netting and ostrich feathers and crystals in the center...it was really cool! Her ivory gown had pickups, lace around the bodice and many, many buttons up the back.
After capturing some details and candid's in the bridal suite, we headed outside for the traditional portraits with the bridal party and family, then it was go time...
Then we whisked the bride and groom off for a few special romantic photos before heading to the party.
While Crystyle and Mark had their private dinner, I captured a few of the unique details and decor that they put into the planning for their day.
Party time! Dinner was eaten, drinks were drunk (including their signature drink the Wedding Cake Martini), dances were danced, cake was cut and eaten, toasts were made...and when Mark was so sweet about carefully feeding Crystyle the wedding cake...Crystyle's dad stepped in and smeared a bit on her face. It was so funny!
We even had time to sneak outside for a few pics with their friends and their bikes for something a little different.
Time to get out the bubbles and say goodbye as the new Mr. and Mrs. Cartwright head off to Chateau Elan for a winery honeymoon.
Congrats to you both Mark and Crystyle and may your marriage be as long and as blessed as mine has!
