Lifestyle Photography - Kamryn Turns 1

Saturday, June 10, 2011
Alpharetta, Georgia

I've been photography Kammie since she was about 6 months old and since then her mom, Tricia, and I have become friends, not just client and business person. I remember when she called me to tell me that they were expecting another baby. I was so excited for their entire family.
When I told her about the Lifestyle photography I am now offering, both she and her husband were interested and we set the date for Kammie's 1st Birthday to capture all the family emotions of the day. We started out at their house to get Kammie alone with mommy and daddy, then headed to the park for the celebration with family and friends.

She really enjoyed her cupcake as you will see!

By the way...two of Tricia's friends are expecting also! Congrats to you all.

A Visit to the Sunflower Farm Festival

Saturday, July 2, 2011
Sunflower Farm Festival, Rutledge, GA

The 4th of July weekend in Georgia is typically hot and humid and this year was no different but we decided to venture out and make the most of it. Water bottles in hand, my husband, my daughter and her two children loaded up the vehicle and headed to Rutledge, GA for the annual Sunflower Farm Festival. If you've never been, I really recommend it! It's fun and festivities the whole weekend long for the whole family, especially children. For adults there is music all day long and plenty of vendors to peruse and shop as well as a large selection of food and drink to keep you going all day long. For the children there is crazy sunflower hair, pony rides, a petting zoo, a haywagon ride through the sunflower fields, and of course, fun little spots throughout the fields for photo ops and such.

Here are a few of our favorite moments through the day:

Not only the kids had fun, the photographer (me!) did as well. Don't know what to do this weekend or for the next few weeks??? Check out their site.
