Heather & Derek wed at Horseshoe Bend Country Club

September 25, 2010
Horseshoe Bend Country Club, Roswell GA

Heather and Derek were married on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Heather had the honor of having her mom give her away, be her bridesmaid, and design her beautiful jewelry. What a lucky girl! Heather and her mom, Linda, are strong believers in the something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue tradition. The most treasured was her Grandmother's ring, Heather's something borrowed AND old. Heather and Derek chose a simple, trendy vision for their day. Heather had a cute, short wedding dress and her bridesmaids and maid of honor also wore short dresses, they all sported cute garters as well.

The guys did it up right as well. No stuffy tux jackets for them in this casual, fun atmosphere. They wore black with stylish fedoras. They were such a handsome group!

The ceremony was held outdoors with beautiful flower accents decorating the archway and chairs. The most touching part of the ceremony for me was when the couple came back down the aisle and Derek stopped to scoop up their daughter to complete the walk down the aisle as a family.

After the ceremony we took the opportunity to get a few fun shots with the bridal party and the bride and groom, then it was time for the reception.

The trendy style of their wedding continued on into the reception with fun accents, a trendy cake, great casual food and lots of dancing! The highlight of the dancing, except for their first dance,  was when Derek danced to "Thriller" for the multiply dance. They had a great time dragging family and friends onto the dance floor.

As the evening was brought to a close, Derek and Heather exited to a cloud of bubbles in their newly redecorated jeep. Congrats to our latest newlyweds!
