Leah & Michael, Anthony's Fine Dining, Buckhead

September 6, 2009
Anthony's Fine Dining, Atlanta
Michael & Leah
Ceremony performed by Rabbi Albert Slomovitz

What a gorgeous day for an outdoor wedding! Leah's father, Rabbi Albert Slomovitz, performed the ceremony and the tears in his eyes made it an emotional time for everyone in attendance. Leah's sisters stood beside her as did her closest friends. The same for Michael, his dad as the best man. After the ceremony and formals were taken, the party began. The staff at Anthony's did a beautiful job on decor and the food was fabulous. The dancing was energetic and full of life and the celebration of the marriage.

Great Senior session in downtown Senoia, Merrimac Park

August 22, 2009
Senoia, Georgia

Another great guy from East Coweta High School had his Senior Session in downtown Senoia and Merrimac Park in Senoia. Everytime we shoot there we find another angle, another location, another interesting area that makes for great portrait locations and these ECHS Class of X guys are amazing to work with.

Ethan brought his parents and his dog, a white german shepard to the session today. His relationship with his dog was apparent. They both adore each other. As you can see, Ethan is happy to be graduating this year.

Ethan also has a strong bond with his family and asked for a few quick family photos while they were still all under the same roof, before college. They were happy to be prompted into a few quick poses. Here is a sample of a Christmas/Holiday card that we can design for you.

If you haven't had a family photo taken in awhile or you are interested in a custom Holiday card, call or email us for your appointment now before the busy holidays are upon us.

Swoozie's Catalog Cover Shoot

August 26, 2009
Westin Hotel, Buckhead (Atlanta)
Swoozie's, the place to shop for all your invitations, party supplies, shower goodies, etc., held a contest among their customer base for a chance to win a weekend getaway along with a professional photoshoot with us, Moments in Time Photography. What a fun shoot and a fantastic day. The winners brought neutral clothing and each had a theme that fit with the reason they wanted to win the weekend and their experiences with Swoozie's. From a one year old with a baby theme to a tail gating theme, each winner expressed their personalities in their photoshoot. One of the lucky winners will be on the cover of Swoozie's fall catalog! The Westin Hotel on Peachtree St. in Buckhead was the location of the weekend getaway as well as the photoshoot. The staff were friendly and very accomodating to the winners and to our staff. Thanks to Amy, Emily and Kelly at Swoozie's and to the staff at the Westin.

High School Seniors from East Coweta High School

Monday, August 3, 2009
Location: Senioa GA

ECHS Senior photography has been a blast this year. On Monday we photographed high school seniors, Austin, Brian and Michael. Each had their own interests and personalities to add to their images.
The highlight of Austin's senior portraits were the shots taken with his Guitar Hero guitar. Not to be outdone by other seniors with guitars, Austin took to the tracks in Sharpsburg with his rock and roll guitar for some fun photos.

Brian brought his dad's beautiful blue Ford Mustang for his senior photos and we went to Merrimac Park in Senioa for some great shots with the car reflecting in the lake in the early evening light.

Michael had some great shots demonstrating his athletic ability. He brought his letter jacket and Lacrosse gear for shots on the Sharpsburg tracks.

All three guys also did a tour of Senioa area hot photo spots. For those who don't already know, some of the Lifetime TV show Drop Dead Diva is filmed in Senioa. A beautiful small town spot with some great locations.
Call me if you still need your high school senior photos taken!

A Beautiful Wedding Day for Angela and Christian

Saturday, August 1, 2009

First Baptist Church of Marietta
Hilton Marietta Conference Center
A beautiful summer day was the setting for the wedding of Angela and Christian's intimate wedding. The ceremony was held in the Chapel with the bride's bouquet of lavendar roses matching the color in the historical stained glass windows. Not a dry eye in the chapel when Angela walked up the aisle with her father. Christian waited in anticipation for his lovely new bride and the vows began.

After the ceremony, the couple left in a flashy corvette and it was off to the dinner reception. The first dance went from a typical slow dance to a great choreographed ballroom dance which they obviously had spent hours practicing to make this evening even more perfect. Although the evening was a hot and humid Atlanta night, the bride and groom joined us for more photos outside as the sun began to set.
Congratulations Angela and Christian...many happy memories of this beautiful day!

Ronald & Chantay

July 25, 2009

Ronald and Chantay came to me from my premier listing on GetMarried.com. GetMarried airs on Lifetime TV weekdays from 7:30-8:00AM. Ronald and Chantay had the ceremony and reception at the Holiday Inn on Capital Avenue in Atlanta. The color scheme was red and the tables and linens matched the bridesmaids dresses and flowers. The ceremony was slightly delayed as family members arrived from other areas of the country. The little girl in yellow was very patient! Ronald's 3 children stood up in the ceremony to support their dad. After a lovely ceremony where Chantay was given away by her brother, it was on to the reception. Ronald and Chantay had a beautiful first dance and after dinner I whisked them away to the rooftop pool for a few photos with the Atlanta skyline in the background. Congrats to both of you and many many years of happiness!

Amanda & Tres at Naylor Hall

July 10, 2009

Amanda and Tres were wed at Roswell United Methodist Church. The bridesmaids were dressed in pretty teal and the wedding party was lots of fun to work with! After the ceremony we all went on to Naylor Hall in Roswell for the reception. After a wonderful buffet dinner the wedding party was ready for action in some really fun photographs. The bridesmaids initiated the fun by gathering around the kissing bride and groom while tossing handfuls of rose petals around them. Then they reminded us all of our early childhood years by dancing in circles around Amanda. The groomsmen weren't about the let the ladies get the best of them and began by imitating The Beatles Abbey Road cover theme and then Tres had the idea of them all spreading out and running towards each other for a collision like in football. Luckily there were no injuries! Hope you enjoy the images and keep us in mind when looking for your wedding photographer.

Amanda and John's Big Day

After a week of on again off again rain the sun came out to play on John and Amanda's Wedding Day. Formal photos were done at Naylor Hall in Roswell, GA before the ceremony at Marietta First Baptist Church. Everything was flawless until the fire alarm went off during the "I Do's". The Marietta Fire Department showed up to discover nothing in flames and the wedding continued without a hitch. After some great photos indoors, we continued outside the church and then back to Naylor Hall. This is one wedding the bride and groom will not forget!
