Maggie & Joe wed at Country Club of the South

It was a balmy Saturday when Joe and Maggie tied the knot at Country Club of the South. For a few moments, we thought the beautiful outdoor ceremony that had been planned would have to be moved indoors, but the fates intervened and the ceremony went off without a hitch. From moments of laughter to tears of joy, the ceremony was beautiful as the Bride's uncle performed the ceremony.

Maggie was a free spirited bride with a true love for photographs to document their day. Most of the formals were taken care of before the ceremony so the newlyweds could join their family and friends at the reception quickly. After their first dance and dinner, we snuck outside for a few more daring shots.

Country Club of the South had so many little spots tucked away, as well as the obvious ones like the 18th green. The couple gleamed with joy and romance as we took shot after shot of them just enjoying each other and the start of their new lives together.

As tradition would have, the bridal party decorated their car in abundance for a quick honeymoon getaway.

Congrats again to Maggie and Joe, we loved celebrating your day with you!

Senior Andrew Fennell at Old Mill Park in Roswell

Andrew's mom, Jody, found us online through www.highschoolseniorphotographers.com and scheduled an appointment during one of the rare times that Andrew was scheduled to be around during the summer. He is busy with many things, college visits, camps, soccer, etc. as well as completing the process of applying to U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Andrew is a Senior at Pope High School in Marietta and is on the road to academic success with many AP classes under his belt.

Andrew had three specific goals for this session, first, just the right photo for his U.S. Military Academy at West Point application; second, formals in his JROTC uniform; and third...fun...in his soccer uniform.

We certainly wish Andrew success in his endeavors...West Point will be lucky to have you!

MITP Girls Head to Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Well, although we had some sweltering weather, the team from Moments in Time Photography headed out to Atlanta Botanical Gardens for a day of some fun shooting. Nikon's in hand, Margaret, Andrea, Lisa Ann, and Martina spent about 4 hours among the flora and fauna and we had a great time. As well as shooting with different Nikon DSLR's, we all worked with different lenses for different looks. I was shooting with a macro lens, Andrea was shooting with her 70-200 mm lens and Lisa Ann and Martina were shooting with long zooms so we each got a little bit of a different look and feel to our images.

The wedding of Jennifer and Chris, Roswell, GA

I arrived at Roswell Presbyterian Church to find the florist just finishing up her final touches. The colors were bold, creative, fun with a mix of spring green, fushcia, and yellow. It was so fresh and fantastic. The flowers were designed by Magnolia Street Floral in Roswell.

The guys were in the back getting on vests, jackets and such; the church wedding director helped them with their boutinierres. Chris looked slightly nervous but very excited to see his bride. We shot a few fun shots with the guys and then Chris was anxious to get his wedding gift to Jennifer, which was delivered by his brother. Jennifer was brought to tears as she read the touching card and opened the gift -- earrings to match her ring. Just the perfect final touch for a beautiful bride. Outside the bride's room the groom was being given his gift from Natalie, the Maid of Honor -- a beautiful pair of cufflinks for this special day.

After working with the guys and the girls for pre-ceremony photos, it was time to line up for the ceremony. Jennifer was lovely in her white gown. It had pleats at the bodice and fit her perfectly, but the most amazing thing about her gown was that it had pockets! Isn't that something every bride wants? A little place to tuck away some lipstick and a few tissues.

Jennifer was escorted down the aisle by her father, Ken, as tears welled up in the eyes of the whole family. Ken gave her a kiss and presented her to Chris. The ceremony ended with a touching kiss and they fled down the aisle.

After some formal family photos, a tradition held by Moments in Time Photography, it was time for some fun! We took some fun shots in front of the chapel and around the towering columns and then the bride and groom were whisked away to the reception by the limo. We arrived at Naylor Hall to family and friends greeting them on the historic front porch.

All the traditions were upheld, first dance, cake cutting, toast, bouquet and garter. It was time for some fun and celebration. Next, Jennifer and Chris get ready to leave for their honeymoon in Key West. I'll be in my office getting the photos ready for viewing online and anxiously awaiting their approval!

Senior Rep Ashley from East Coweta High School

Ashley is my female Senior Rep from ECHS. She is a Lacrosse player and loves to play it up for the camera. She brought a car full of outfits, shoes and accessories because as a rep she received the ultimate treatment and the Platinum Session.

We started out at Line Creek in Peachtree City where she posed on the rocks, splashed in the water and played and had fun. That's what it's all about in a Senior session...being yourself, having fun and relaxing in front of the camera. She wore a cute little sundress that she had just shopped for as well as many other outfits from her shopping trip.

The next stop was downtown Senoia, a great spot with many little nooks and crannies for photos. From broken down brick buildings, to rose garden parking lots, to colorful buildings, the fun goes on and on. She was jumping for joy and excited to wear her little white dress and cowboy boots.

Then it was time for some studio shots with a beautiful custom made backdrop, the perfect setting for a simple black dress and some pearls.
